Have a pet boarding-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • How far in advance should I book the reservation at Homeland Pet Hotel?

Homeland Pet Hotel would suggest that you confirm your pet boarding reservation with us as soon as you know which dates you require. We tend to book quickly during certain times of the year. Call us today to make your reservation and to inquire more about our services.

  • What vaccinations do you require my pets to have?

The law mandates that all animals be current on their annual booster (DHPP), Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. To book a reservation with our pet boarding facility, Homeland Pet Hotel must verify that your pet is up-to-date on all of their shots. You're welcome to email your vaccine records to homelandpethotel@gmail.com in advance or bring them in when you drop off your pet for boarding.

  • Can my pets share an enclosure during their stay?

We encourage family pets to share the same enclosure at Homeland Pet Hotel as long as there is adequate space to allow for a safe and comfortable visit. We typically prefer to board pets of similar size in the same run, but exceptions can be made as long as the safety and well-being of the smaller pet are taken into consideration. Pricing is discounted by 25% for each additional pet sharing an enclosure. Call us today to learn more about our pet boarding services!

  • Do you exercise all dogs together?

All larger guests have their exercise yard which can be shared with other family members. Homeland Pet Hotel doesn't integrate them with small guests for safety reasons. We do run smaller dogs of similar size and temperament together and have found that they enjoy the company of their fellow guests. As long as it has been approved by the owner, exceptions can be made. Call us to learn more about pet boarding and to have any other questions you have about the process answered.

  • Can I bring my pet's food, bed, dog blankets, and toys?

You're more than welcome to bring all of the comforts of home when you drop off your pet at Homeland Pet Hotel. It's always best to bring the food that your pet is currently eating to avoid upsetting their digestive system. We do provide Kirkland Chicken and Vegetables dry kibble if you don't wish to bring in your pet's food. This food has a 5-star rating, according to the Dog Food Advisor, which is a reputable rating system for many dog food brands.

We do provide kennel decks for larger pets and little cots for smaller dogs. Blankets are also provided, as long as your pet isn't a chewer. If you wish to bring in items with your scent, please feel free to do so. These items may help to comfort your pet during the pet boarding experience. Feel free to contact us today to learn more about what's provided during your pet's stay.

  • Is your facility climate-controlled?

Homeland Pet Hotel's facility does have central heating and air conditioning and is kept at a comfortable temperature at all times. If you choose to house your pet in one of our outdoor runs during their pet boarding experience, or we run out of indoor space, we do our best to keep them comfortable with misters, fans, or extra bedding. We'll always work to get all animals inside as space permits. During our peak seasons, it's more difficult but, as inside runs are vacated, dogs are moved inside as soon as possible.

  • How often are dogs let out during the day and for how long?

At Homeland Pet Hotel, we exercise our guests twice a day. They're let outside first thing in the morning to do their business and stretch their legs. As weather permits, they're left out in the fresh air for at least half an hour while their runs are being sanitized and their water and blankets are being changed. They're once again let out around 3:00 PM for a repeat of the same schedule.

During periods of extreme heat, we reduce the exercise time to ensure their comfort and exposure to the elements. The same applies during the rain or any other extreme weather conditions. We want to allow our guests as much time as possible in our spacious exercise yards and adjust their schedules accordingly. Contact us today to learn more about the pet boarding process.

  • What are your hours?

Homeland Pet Hotel's office is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We're open 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays and 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sundays. We do have adjusted hours during the holidays which will be stated at the time you book your reservation. To learn more about the pet boarding process, contact our team today!

  • Is there webcam access to my dog's kennel?

To keep costs down and due to lack of space, we don't offer doggie cameras at Homeland Pet Hotel. We take every precaution to ensure that your pet is safe and happy while in our care. Our goal is to give you enough comfort and assurance that you feel you can enjoy your vacation without feeling the need to worry about your pet.

We're a family business and all of our employees have and love animals. You're welcome to call anytime during their pet boarding experience to check on them. We're here to take the worry out of leaving your beloved pet with us. According to Forbes, 85% of dog owners see their pets as a part of their family. While they're in our care, we promise to treat them as if they were part of ours!

  • Can I take a tour?

Homeland Pet Hotel welcomes you to stop by for a visit during our office hours. However, you might want to consider coming between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM if you want to miss the commotion of feeding and exercise time. Call us to learn more about taking a tour and the pet boarding process.
